How It Works
The first step in determining if a coating system is appropriate for your property is a physical inspection of the entire roof. Bert Dorr Roofing will perform a walk-over inspection and document the field membrane, flashings, penetrations, RTUs, insulation, drainage, ponding issues, structural integrity… we don’t just fly a drone overhead.
If your roof is a good candidate for a coating system, the project will begin with a thorough cleaning of the roof. The entire roof will be power washed with an eco-friendly detergent as necessary. Seams, flashings, and edge-metal will be flashed with a rubberized thermoplastic sealant and reinforced fabric as necessary.
The coating system is installed in a two-part process: first a base coat and then the topcoat. Coatings can be installed with brushes, rollers, or spray applied. The finished product is a uniform, seamless, and flexible layer of UV-resistant coating.
